A board game created by Smadar Zioni to practice speaking

I always thought that board games are a great way to review vocabulary/grammar or any topic at all in class since they feel familiar, they remind us of our childhood and everyone knows how to play them.

After I created the board game on Genial.ly to practice speaking in English, see previous post here, English teacher from Eylon Junior High in Holon, Smadar Zioni, created her own board game with more questions, to be played the same way in class. She posted it in my Facebook group and it is now free for you to use in your classrooms! Thank you Smadar for all the hard work and for being so creative!
I love the questions on there and the pictures attached to each question.

To play Smadar's game click here, open this link in class and project the game on the board.

Whole Class Activity

2. Present this game on the smart board in class.
3. Divide the class into three groups.
4. Click on the dice, roll the dice by starting the video and stopping.
5. Advance the pawn to the correct square.
6. If there is a question icon, open it and read the question.
6. Each turn, two-three different students should answer the question.

Playing in groups of three

1. Each group should open the link to the game here in a separate breakout room or on a lap top computer in class.
2. Students take turns clicking on the dice, rolling the dice and stopping.
3. Students advance the pawn of their choice to the correct square.
4. If there is a question icon, students open it and read the question.
5. Students should be encouraged to answer the question and share experiences.

This is what it looks like:
