Students choose a card:
They read a question and answer, here are some questions from the activity:
Here is one suggestion on how to play this in class or remotely:
Project this game on the board in class or on the Zoom screen if you are teaching remotely.
Ask students to pick a card number.
Click on the card and read the question together.
Ask volunteers to share their answers.
Continue the conversation while you help students with vocabulary and sentence structure.
If you are on Zoom, after 2-3 cards, send students the link in the chat, and ask them to open the link with the game.
(If you teach in class you can use 4-5 computers and play in groups).
Start breakout rooms of 4-5 students in each room and ask them to try and speak English and not to turn to their L1 as much as they can.
Tell them to call you if they need help and tell them they can look up single words in the dictionary/Morfix/Google translate in order to develop their independence skills.
