Chatter PIX app - Make everything talk!

Use ChatterPix in your English lessons to make anything talk and come to life.

Students can take a picture of an object / upload a picture from the internet, draw a “mouth” and make it talk.

Use this with school tablets/ipads or personal smartphones.

Activity examples:

Students draw a character, write a monologue and then record it. They create a clip in which that character speaks. This activity enhances: writing skills, presentation skills and speaking skills.

Here is my short video tutorial:

Teacher Rania Essa prepared a video about ChatterPix:

Here are some examples:

Idea 1: Save the Earth day, students draw a "green man" and it talks about tips to save our planet (Our World, Unit 4):

Idea 2: Students take a picture of their favorite toy/object and they have to make the toy speak and say something meaningful. This exercise forces the student to think about other points of view. It also enhances critical thinking as well as all the other language skills.
